Mary and I are offering a morning of Yin Yoga and Gong, inspired by the coming of spring, a chance to let go of heaviness and lethargy and connect with the rising energy of spring.
Come and stretch, reconnect and be held by beautiful sounds from the gongs. All followed by some light refreshments.
Yin yoga is great for when we are tired, over-stimulated, when our energy is too erratic or mind overactive. This practice consists of a series of long-held, passive floor based poses. The postures work on a physical level with the connective tissues, and on an energetic level to clear the meridians. The poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes at a time.
We are constantly influenced by heard and unheard sound frequencies and receiving a Gong Bath can help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace and wellbeing for better health. The perfect match to Yin Yoga.
Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow to make a comfortable nest! (a few spare ones are available). Please also bring some water. Remember to let us know if you have any medical conditions or metal work in the body.
