Join yoga teacher Llio Mair and sound therapist Steph Healy for a Spring weekend retreat to rest and gently reawaken from the cocoon of winter, welcoming the renewal of spring energy.
Spring is in the air and the trees, plants and flowers are beginning to fill with sap and gather momentumn for flowering. This retreat will invite you to pause, slow down and take time to connect with the awakening life all around us. Together through sound and hatha yoga we will movement explore connecting to the fertility of nature as we begin to awaken from Winter.
The weekend will include yoga, meditation, chanting, sound and gong baths, an optional wild swim and lots and lots of delicious food in the beautiful Trigonos, set in Eryri/Snowdonia.
Through holistic hatha yoga, we will be exploring kryias (cleansing breath practices); dynamic asana (yoga postures and movement); pranayama (breath control) and mantra to ground and move gently out of Winter Dreaming into the Light of Spring. We will work on releasing and moving any stagnation out of our system, out of the heaviness of Winter into the light-hearted energy of Spring, inviting more pranic light into our bodies and into our cells. We will be welcoming in the new energies, balancing the elements within ourselves and bringing ourselves into rhythm with the Earth energies at this time, calling on all that will support us on our path as we seed our Soul’s vision and intention for our lives at this time.

A gentle fusion of yoga and sound healing, to compliment this time in the year where the light is increasing and nature is edging into the Summer. A chance to pause, ground and reconnect to the life force.
The weekend will include yoga, meditation, sound and gong baths, an optional wild swim and lots and lots of delicious food in the beautiful space at Trigonos, set in the magical Snowdonia National Park. We will be working with yin and yang energy to balance masculine and feminine with flow to lift the energy and breathwork and meditation to equalise and steady prana in the body.

I am offering space for a small group to gather for a weekend of sound healing and reflection at a time when the light is reaching maximum capacity approaching the Summer Solstice. At this time everything in nature blooms and thrives there is much warmth and light on our planet and everyone is enjoying the longer days, spending time out in nature.
I invite you to step inside yourself to reflect and pause before the wheel of the year turns once more. Become aware of all that you have achieved since the Winter, all that you have learned and to begin to dream the next phases of your life.

Edging into Winter

The yoga for this retreat will be a mix of slow flow, restorative and yin reflecting the need at this time of year to slow down and take time to nurture the self. Woven in with Gong Baths, Sound Journeying and Meditation you will be bathed in sounds to hold you, help you to release old and stuck energy and to clear your energy field.
